Tabernanthe Iboga has a powerful effect on the brain. It influences several key neurotransmitters, such as dopamine and serotonin, as well as neurotropic factors including N-methyl-d-aspartate, kappa-opioid, sigma, and nicotine.
These effects support the growth of new brain cells by activating brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), which enhances the functioning of existing brain cells and facilitates the formation of new connections between neurons.
