Iboga Healing Retreat

In the traditional psycho-spiritual Iboga ceremony, we learn about ourselves on all levels: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Iboga helps by breaking ego illusions and letting go of the past, false beliefs, traumas, lies, and attachments.

This 8-day schedule is designed to ensure that guests get the most out of their experience. It provides you with plenty of time to prepare for the Iboga ceremony, process it, and integrate your experience.

Retreat Schedule

Day 1 ~ Arrival

A day for you to settle in and make yourself comfortable. We have dinner, and we gather around the fire to introduce ourselves to do an orientation.

We talk about who we are and what we want to achieve in the coming week. We discuss the retreat schedule and how you can get the most out of your time with us and the medicine.

Day 2 ~ The First Ceremony

After lunch, we will have a private counseling session with you to discuss your personal targets and address any questions you might have about the process.

The ceremony begins after sunset with a Firetalk, during which we share the history of the medicine and the Bwiti tradition. You will receive the medicine in the form of ground bark root, which you will swallow with water.

At some point, you will want to lay down on one of the mats set out in the temple area. There, you will remain until just before sunrise, allowing the medicine to do its work.

Our staff will be present throughout the ceremony to assist you with your needs—such as drinking water, getting to and from a nearby bathroom, purging (vomiting), or offering guidance as necessary. We create a very safe environment for you to focus on your experience.

When the time is right, we will begin the process of Spiritual Discovery. This will be your opportunity to connect with your soul, engage in a live conversation with it, and ask any questions you may have about yourself.

Day 3 ~ Processing

The medicine will be working on you throughout the day, so it's best to spend this time in the privacy of your room. We will conduct regular check-ins to ensure you are doing okay.

This day focuses on introspection, insights, realizations, release, acceptance, and rest. You will be doing a lot of processing, so it’s important to relax and allow the medicine to do what it needs to do.

As the intensity of the medicine begins to settle, the gifts of Iboga will be revealed. It is common to receive intuitive messages and deep personal knowledge during the silence of Processing Day.

Day 4 ~ Integration

Iboga has cleansed you and opened your third eye. Integration Day is an opportunity to reconnect with nature, yourself, and the art of being.

Depending on the weather and the season, we might visit the beach, enjoy some time at the spa, take a walk in the woods, or explore a salt cave—activities that are gentle and restorative.

Day 5 ~ Second Ceremony

Before the ceremony you will take a Spiritual Shower. This practice is intended to cleanse your body, mind, and soul of any negativity, while also providing spiritual protection and a blessing to invite all the positive experiences you desire into your life.

In the first ceremony, we focused on clearing you out, building a relationship with the medicine, and fostering a deeper trust in your guides. Now, you are ready to dive into the deeper aspects of this journey.

The second ceremony will be conducted in a similar manner to the first, but remember that no two experiences with the medicine are the same. This time, you are prepared to fully immerse yourself and get the necessary work done.'

Day 6 ~ Processing

This day is dedicated to introspection, insight, release, acceptance, and rest. Your providers will always be within reach, ready to offer counseling or guidance whenever you need it.

Day 7 ~ Integration

This is another important day to reconnect with nature. You are clean, awake, and aware.

After sunset, we will gather one last time for a closing ceremony. Your providers will share some closing words and invite anyone who wishes to share their experience to speak.

Day 8 ~ Departure

Guests will be making their way home after breakfast.

Going Home ~ Integration

Going home marks the beginning of your new life. While you may have changed, life back home has remained the same. As you put into practice everything you’ve learned, you will master the tools to create the life you truly desire.

While Iboga has assisted you in your healing and provided insights into life, it didn't fix your life for you. That responsibility lies with you, utilizing the tools Iboga has given you. Embrace and master them, and you will gain a deeper understanding of life’s mechanics and the power to shape your own destiny.

Iboga will accompany you every step of the way as you hone these tools. Your providers will also be fully available to support you throughout your journey via integration calls, which you can schedule at your convenience.
