First Timers

The Iboga healing experience is about empowering yourself. Iboga will teach you the truth about life, give you the tools you need to create your happiness and peace of mind, and it will show you how to use them.

A Powerful Plant Medicine

Iboga is often hailed as the most powerful plant medicine in the world. This title might give the false impression that the experience will be overwhelmingly intense and could easily lead to a “bad trip”.

However, Iboga's true power lies in its ability to directly address the root of the issues you face, efficiently and effectively.

Iboga is often described as the most intelligent plant medicine available. It knows what you are seeking and the most effective path to help you achieve it.

A significant aspect of its effectiveness is its twin spirit. Iboga is unique in that it embodies a twin spirit, both male and female, allowing it to adapt to your needs. It knows when you require a father’s discipline and can seamlessly transition to a mother’s nurturing touch at the exact moment you need it.

Why We Use It

In Gabon, the home of Iboga, this medicine is a sacrament and a national treasure. The Babongo people (or pygmies) have been using it for physical and spiritual healing long before the pyramids were built, serving as a guide into spiritual matters.

Today, the medicine has decided it’s time to come out of hiding, and 10th generation Shaman Moughenda has opened the doors of his village to foreigners, offering them healing, and training to bring this medicine out into the world.

The Ceremony

An Iboga ceremony begins around the fire where we share the Bwiti tradition. This is the study of life itself. What does it mean to be human? What is true purpose here? Where do our emotions and thoughts come from? How do we master them?

What is happiness and peace of mind, and how do we bring those in our lives?

These practical, applicable, no-nonsense tools are what people use long after ceremony to be the masters of their own selves.

During the ceremony we ingest the root bark of the Iboga tree. You will start to feel a little high, but never disconnected or unable to get up or communicate. It is a very grounding experience.

The first thing Iboga will do is detox your body and your mind. Once clean, it’s time for the Spiritual Discovery.

The Spiritual Discovery

This is where the medicine launches you on a live spiritual journey, allowing you to have a one-on-one with your soul. It’s your opportunity to ask all those questions you’ve been seeking answers to: Who am I? Where do I come from? What is the purpose of my life?

Here, you have the opportunity to heal your soul, your heart, your past, and your ancestry.

Your Providers

Your Iboga providers have been trained in the jungles of Gabon, Africa, by 10th-generation Shaman Moughenda. We spent months learning how to safely and professionally conduct Iboga Healing Ceremonies, mastering the spiritual tools and applying them to our own lives—healing ourselves so that we can guide others to their own freedom.

We’ve undergone the Rites of Passage and have been fully initiated into the Missoko Bwiti tribe. It is now home to us, and we regularly return to the village to contribute to its development and deepen our understanding of the tradition.

We have received the blessings of the Shaman and the Iboga medicine to carry out this important work.

The key to a successful Iboga experience is a willingness to seek the truth and a readiness to let go. Even if you don’t know how to, Iboga will teach you.
